أهداف البرنامج التعليمية
- ممارسة وتطبيق المعرفة في مجال تقنية هندسة القوى الكهربائية لخدمة المجتمع والمؤسسات الحكومية والصناعات المحلية والدولية.
- تطوير حلول مبتكرة وخلاقة للمشاكل الهندسية المرتبطة بمهنتهم سواء بشكل مستقل أو من خلال فرق العمل.
- المساهمة في التنمية الشاملة في المجتمع والاعتراف بهم كمهندسين فعالين ملتزمين بالأخلاقيات المهنية.
- تطبيق مهارات التواصل الفعال ومهارات التعامل مع الآخرين ليكونوا اعضاء منتجين ومتجانسين في بيئات متعددة التخصصات.

المخرجات التعليمية للطالب
تصف مخرجات الطلاب ما يُتوقع من الطلاب معرفته والقدرة على القيام به بحلول وقت التخرج. تتعلق هذه بالمعرفة والمهارات والسلوكيات التي يكتسبها الطلاب أثناء تقدمهم من خلال البرنامج.
- القدرة على تطبيق المعرفة والتقنيات والمهارات والأدوات الحديثة للرياضيات والعلوم والهندسة والتكنولوجيا لحل المشكلات الهندسية المحددة على نطاق واسع والمناسبة للتخصص .
- القدرة على تصميم أنظمة أو بعض مكونات النظم أو عمليات تشغيل النظم لتلبية الاحتياجات وحل المشاكل الهندسية المحددة على نطاق واسع والمناسبة للتخصص.
- القدرة على تطبيق مهارات التواصل الكتابية والشفوية وبأستخدام الرسومات الهندسية في بيئات تقنية أوغير تقنية وعلى نطاق واسع ؛ والقدرة على تحديد واستخدام الأدبيات والمصطلحات الهندسية والتقنية المناسبة.
- القدرة على إجراء الاختبارات القياسية وتنفيذ التجارب وأخذ القياسيات وتحليل النتائج وتفسيرها واستخدامها لتحسين التصاميم او الاداء في عمليات التقنية الهندسية.
- القدرة على العمل بفعالية وكفاءة كعضو وكقائد في فرق العمل الفنية.
تمتلك الكلية عددا من الورش والمعامل التي تساهم في العملية التعليمية، وتسعى حاليا لاستكمال هذه المعامل وتنميتها بما يخدم الأغراض التعليمية والبحثية الخاصة بالمشاريع وطلبة الدراسات العليا بالإضافة إلى خدمة الاستشارات، والعمل البحثي المشترك.

منذ تأسيسها، أدركت الكلية أهمية البحث العلمي ودوره في تطوير الأمم. تسعى الكلية لمواكبة التميز وتحقيق حافز اجتماعي نحو البحث والاكتشاف، وتعزيز الوسائل اللازمة لذلك. ولذا، تولي الكلية اهتمامًا خاصًا للبحث العلمي.

Student Outcomes
Describe what students are expected to know and be able to do by the time of graduation. These relate to the knowledge, skills, and behaviors that students acquire as they progress through the program.
- an ability to apply knowledge, techniques, skills and modern tools of mathematics, science, engineering, and technology to solve broadly defined engineering problems appropriate to the discipline;
- an ability to design systems, components, or processes meeting specified needs for broadly defined engineering problems appropriate to the discipline;
- an ability to apply written, oral, and graphical communication in broadly defined technical and non-technical environments; and an ability to identify and use appropriate technical literature;
- an ability to conduct standard tests, measurements, and experiments and to analyze and interpret the results to improve processes; and
- an ability to function effectively as a member as well as a leader on technical teams.
Academic Programs
The college possesses a number of workshops and laboratories that contribute to the educational process. It is currently striving to enhance and expand these facilities to serve the educational and research needs, particularly for projects and graduate students, in addition to providing consultation services and engaging in collaborative research work.

Since its establishment, the college has recognized the importance of scientific research and its role in the development of nations. The college aims to excel and achieve social motivation towards research and discovery, while supporting the necessary means for that. Therefore, the college places special emphasis on scientific research.
